The financial covenant can be found in 1 Corinthians 16:2 which says “Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come.” (KJV)
Through the giving of tithes we enter into a financial covenant with God in which he promises to do the following 7 tenants:
God says for a dime, I will enhance your image and your lifestyle. God will bless you to the point that others will know you’re blessed. He will bless you until your blessing cannot be hidden. it will start on the inside and flow to the outside.
God says for a dime, I will enhance your reputation. All nations shall call you blessed and He will make your name great.
God says for a dime, I will protect you from doing the right thing at the wrong time. God will make sure your vine does not cast it’s fruit at the wrong time. God will show you when to release and also teach you the art of waiting.
God says for a dime, I will close the back door. I will stop you from losing what I have given you. God will rebuke the devourer.
God says for a dime, I will cause you to have excess. God will bless you so much that you will not have room enough to receive.
God says for a dime, I will dispense what I have withheld. God will pour you out a blessing.
God says for a dime, I will open up a channel between you and I. Obedience opens up the windows of heaven. It’s not what you say that opens the windows, but what you do.
